Performance + lecture Kasper Jordaens
16.00_18.00h_argos_lobby
In his lecture performance Kasper will take you along on his quest. Kasper believes in collaboration. Humans and machines together in a society where decisions are often made by one having an impact on the other. People do not always connect with each other. Often, they do connect with their machines though, letting algorithms decide what they do, where they eat and who they love. In his work Kasper questions these mechanisms and technologies and uses them at the same time. Transforming technology from a tool to an instrument of expression. Diving into a technology to fully understand what it is (in)capable of and combining human strengths.
Kasper will show some examples of these explorations through his work and explain how and why they were created, touching on topics like open source, data and how to let the human be in charge in creative processes.
